A little girl sat on the carpet with her doll.
“Now open your mouth,” she said seriously, shining a flashlight into the doll’s face.
The doll, of course, said nothing.
After a moment of silence, the girl sighed and said:
“Well, it’s not that bad. You just need more cookies.”
Children don’t pretend — they practice life.
When they play, they imitate what they see, try it on, and make it their own.
Through play, imagination becomes experience — and experience becomes learning.
