A boy sat quietly, watching his father repair a bench.
Without a word, he picked up a tool and copied the movement.
Soon, the bench stood steady again.
The father wiped the sweat from his forehead.
The boy grinned and said proudly:
— Daddy, you worked so hard… now it’s my turn to sit and rest!
Children don’t follow instructions. They follow examples.
Even in play, they mirror what they see — the effort, the gestures, the focus.
And even when they imitate, they feel they’ve worked just as hard — serious enough to ask for a rest after “all that work" :-)
What we show becomes what they grow.
